I felt that even though the song had so many themes put into it, this made me feel more excited of what Black Pink will bring next. Before YG artists stuck to one genre and usually had a theme they stuck to, but here there is so much going on that I don't know what their style really is. Which I am sooo sooo happy about. When groups come out, we usually put a label on top of them and expect them to make songs only in that genre or that specific theme but lately artists have been doing a great job of breaking it down. Anyways, in conclusion.. I LOVE BLACK PINK. I don't care that that they only debuted a day or two ago.. but DAMN they are so my bias!!

I found both songs enjoyable. I like the different hair styles and the funky clothes the girls had on. Yeah it was kinda like 2NE1 but same label. No suprise folks. I like them a lot though. So I'll be watching them. :-)

They are not bad, but what i find sad is that now big company forget older group and focus on the new fresh young, so now we can goodbye to 2NE1 because all YG money and focus will go to Black Pink. JYP did the same, they forget Miss A and Wonder girl so all the money and focus go to Twice. Even SM did it when they've forgot CSJH The Grace and that the money and focus did go to SNSD. When SM will release a new girl group, they will forget about SNSD and all the money and focus will go to the new group. Yup that the sad reality of K-pop, all older group will disappear and only the new one stay until they become old and new one appear to replace them.

sm i think will always treasure snsd, they have done HUGE things for sm and so far no girl group (maybe with the exception of 2ne1) have been able to compete with the amount of fame snsd has (doesnt matter if you hate/like them, you still know of their existence). And plus, sm has debuted rv and it still feels like they focus on snsd alot

hum , if 2NE1 didn't have that big scandal back then , he would focus on them as well , it's a different situation here

drakis07 Lynnbia Thursday, August 11, 2016

Well YG did like nothing positive about the scandal but like exiled Bom to know where, focus just on CL solo, give Dara other activities like acting and do nothing with Minzy, so sadly was already in the past for the company. Maybe they should try at least to do something to keep the group together, i don't think that we will hear from 2NE1 for a long time, now that YG has find a younger, fresh girl group to make money. Even with no scandal, i'm sure that once Black pink released all the money for promotion and stuff would have been all for them and nothing left for 2NE1.

Where did they got the fame even before they debuted just asking?

Lynnbia knk90 Wednesday, August 10, 2016

a little bit everywhere . From videos , teaser pic , dance practises , featuring , MVs , CFs , acting , modeling. Also since they're the new girlgroup from YG since 2NE1 , so people are curious . The most popular were Jisoo and Jennie back then (knowing they started appearing to the public since 2012)

Also , Lisa is from Thai , so people from her country were excited . BlackPink has a lot of thai fans right now

honestly the hype set expectations really high. The rapping was okay but the vocals... didnt quite prove its self. Basically, waiting to see more releases before I judge their quality.

I liked the singing more than rap...but yea the songs were average to me ...sadly speaking

Lynnbia RhodaOkayz Wednesday, August 10, 2016

the rapping was .. okay ? show me a great rapping in the rookies

LilBmw Tuesday, August 9, 2016

I ain't a fan of BP, but I wasn't disappointed with their debut, the rapping was good and the singing was good... if you listen to it a couple of times, you'll get used to it
