YMC Entertainment has responded to accusations that the IOI MV seems to have copied Girls' Generation's MV.
The teaser released earlier today featured the girls trying their hand at various occupations. Some of them included Jieqiong's ballerina, Yeonjung's fashion designer, and Chungha's dancer, which seemed to coincide with Seohyun's ballerina, YoonA's fashion designer, and Hyoyeon's dancer in Girls' Generation's "Into the New World" MV.
Fans also pointed out that the overall concept (of reaching toward dreams) as well as the outfits were similar to "Into the New World". To these accusations, YMC Entertainment told HeraldPOP, "We filmed the MV to match the song lyrics. They are about dreams and hope."
