She had chosen EXO's "Love Me Right," explaining, "I liked the whole song so much that I wanted to try [covering] it."
The production crew mentioned the huge fandom the boy group has and U.JI admitted to being aware of the fans, stating, "EXO's fandom is the best, but I was unable to sleep. I was so worried. Extremely... If I do it wrong, the fans would get angry, so I wondered if I was being too ambitious."
