Viewers think Victoria and Cha Tae Hyun's 'My Sassy Girl 2' is a failure?

The new film starring f(x)'s Victoria and Cha Tae Hyun started premiering on May 12 and gained 15,192 viewers on the first day. Unfortunately, the number viewers quickly decreased with time as it recorded 14,150 viewers on the 13th, 13,417 viewers on the 14th, 11,022 viewers on the 15th, and so forth.

Then, according to the results on May 18, the movie has thus far gained only 69,536 viewers in total, at #6 in the box office.This is quite contradictory to many viewers' expectations. In fact, 'My Sassy Girl 2' gained tremendous attention from the very beginning, because it is a second version of one of Korea's greatest hit movies. The movie also premiered in both Korea and China with the lead role being played by a top Chinese star, Victoria. 

Viewers could not hide their disappointment toward the film, saying, "I am a fan of Victoria, but 'My Sassy Girl 2' is just not good at all..", "Wow, it didn't even reach 100,000 viewers. How embarrassing", "You can't beat the original movie. I am starting to wonder why Cha Tae Hyun decided to do this..", etc. 

We'll have to wait to see for ourselves just how good or bad the film is!
