Singer and musical actor Lee Changsub has successfully concluded his role in the musical 'Winter Wanderer.'
Lee Changsub performed as the protagonist Han Minwoo from December 16 last year to February 25, at the Hanjeon Art Center in Seoul, for approximately two months. 'Winter Wanderer' is a musical adaptation of a novel by the late master of modern literature, Choi Inho, depicting the radiant portrait of youth that everyone once had. In the play, Lee Changsub portrayed Han Minwoo, a promising medical student who is suddenly thrust into misfortune.
Lee Changsub was especially praised for his portrayal of Han Minwoo's intense emotional fluctuations with depth and nuance. His skilled acting and singing led the production with stability, and his detailed interpretation and expression tailored to the character earned acclaim from the audience.
After receiving a standing ovation at the final performance, Lee Changsub expressed his gratitude through his agency Fantagio on the 26th, saying, "It was an honor to meet the character 'Han Minwoo.' I believe no other work has suited the word 'winter' as well as this one, and it's a production that will come to mind every winter.
