Actor Han Ji Min has donated 50 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to help residents of jjokbang villages and elderly living alone safely get through the winter.
Her agency, BH Entertainment, announced on the 11th, "Han Ji-min decided to provide support, hoping to help the elderly a little as the weather gets colder."
Han Ji-min is a member of the 'Hope Bridge Honors Club,' a private high-donation club. Particularly at the end of last year, she also donated 50 million won to Hope Bridge for heating expenses for the elderly living alone, continuing her good deeds for the disaster-vulnerable community.
Song Pil-ho, the president of Hope Bridge, said, "In a situation where a harsh cold wave is expected this winter, actor Han Ji Min's donation will serve as a great example to society, especially when safety and care are needed for the disaster-vulnerable community."
Earlier this month, Han Ji Min also contributed 50 million won to the UN international relief organization JTS (Join Together Society). In August last year, she donated 50 million won to a facility for the disabled, and in early December, amid the continuing cold wave, she participated in coal briquette volunteering, delivering warmth to each household.
Meanwhile, Han Ji Min is preparing to shoot the new SBS drama 'While Greeting' (working title).
