Jo Nain, the Leader of 'Street Dance Girls Fighter' winning team TURNS, says BTS’s Jungkook is her dance inspiration
BTS's Jungkook is an inspirational figure for many idols and celebrities worldwide. Many idols look up to him and share how they started singing, dancing, and starting practicing to become amazing idols after seeing him.
Jo Nain, Team Leader of TURNS which has won the Street Dance Girls Fighter of 2021, asked on her Instagram story about recommendations for her YouTube channel name, and she received a suggestion from Jungkook that 'Have A good nain' would be a good name, which left her in surprise.
During her interview on shows and media, she shared that she has been a fan of BTS for six years, and Jungkook is her bias. Jungkook has a significant influence on her, and she started dancing after seeing Jungkook in 'I Need You' and copied his choreography.
•Nain: "Yesterday Jungkook… I asked people to recommend a name for my new YouTube channel, and he sent a recommendation too.
Q: Since when did you stan him?
• Nain: I was his fan for six years since I was in elementary school. I have all of their albums at home. And he’s the one to whom I dedicated all of my girlhood time. He also gave me influence when I first began dancing too. It was when BTS released I NEED U & I got more into dancing as I learned the choreography in the practice video. I covered Jungkook-nim’s part.
Jo Nain became shy while sharing her story as a fangirl and also said, 'I love you, Jungkook.'
Producer of 'Street Dance Girls Fighter,' PD Kim Nayeon, thanked BTS and Jungkook for introducing the show to global fans and increasing the interest in Korean dancers around the world.
"As a producer, I'm happy for Nain who got a recommendation from Jungkook about her Youtube channel name. I would like to use this chance to thank BTS".
