The police stated that the feminist activists, who protested topless in front of Facebook Korea, did not violate the law.

Ten feminist activist group members held a topless protest back on June 2. The group protested in front of Facebook Korea after their topless body photographs were deleted from the social platform.

On June 4, Suseo Police Station announced, "The feminist protest that took place back on June 2 is not considered a misdemeanor", and added, "The final examination remains but we're leaning towards no punishment."

The police explained, "It was a performance of expression. It was not an act of provoking sexual arousal."

The ladies had the phrase, "My body is not pornography", on their bodies.

After deleting the photos, Facebook Korea restored the photos and apologized, stating that their algorithms automatically deleted the photos.
