According to the head of the supermarket , Ms. Park told an employee that her phone wasn't working and demanded that he fix it for her. When the employee told her to take it to the service center to get it repaired, Ms. Park reportedly retorted, "Why won't you change it for me?"

Angry that she couldn't get her way, Ms. Park shouted that she was a VIP customer and repeatedly struck the display stands. The employee called security, who proceeded to take her outside. Ms. Park became more violent and struck the guard handling her to the point that he began bleeding around his mouth. The police received a report regarding the incident and booked Ms. Park for assault.

In the clip above, Ms. Park can be seen grabbing the security guard by the collar and cursing at him. At the 0:26 mark she shouts, "Let go. Who do you think you are to threaten me? I'm yelling at you because I'm from that big of a household," perhaps implying that she comes from a powerful, wealthy family. She also says, "How are you doing this to a VIP customer, to someone who spent hundred millions [of won] here."

Netizens mocked Ms. Park's attitude and applauded the supermarket for taking action against her tantrum. Comments include: "Why is such a well-bred lady shopping? She should be directing those below her to perform such tasks," "Even the airline vice president went to jail because of her 'nut rage,' what makes this VIP supermarket customer think she can act so high and mighty," and, "I wouldn't want to sit on an airplane next to her.
