On April 27, the Korea Communications Standards Commission (KCSC) held a meeting to review complaints from viewers concerning the kiss scene. The two Block B members smooched for a skit called 'My Boyfriend is Block B' on the comedy show, and it seems to have ruffled a few feathers.

Viewers are reported to have complained, "A storyline supporting homosexuality on a show that minors watch isn't suitable for television." In the end, the KCSC agreed with viewers and came to the conclusion to impose a sanction on 'SNL Korea'.

I think the sanction and complaints are quite nonsensical. They should start to change the way they see homosexuality. Even if they are homophobic their kids shouldn't be what they are. They should be taught their decisions and whatever they like, is okay.

To be honest, as a Block B fan, I LOVED this!

I don't have anything against homosexuality, because it doesn't necessarily affect me, and it's the individual that decide upon it but I will admit I wil find it strange if you're a man talking about love with a woman, but you're actually attracted to the opposite sex.(  even this was intended as a light  joke)

i dont get it like they would let their eyes wide open for violence but shutting their eyes tight for love like wtf

Again, this proves that younger generations in South Korea are more open to sexual diversity. Maybe joking, but the "taboo" that homosexuality was, is slowly emerging by the hands of Idols and younger citizens. Thumbs up for taking the risk of showing that two man kissing, are as normal as two woman or a women and a men.
