Like us, Idols loving posting on their SNS and using multiple hashtags with quirky emojis. Yet, even if we know a little Korean and can translate a sentence or two, there are some expressions that will have you muttering, "헐...?" (Check the list!).

If you're having a hard time understanding trendy words in Korea, and can't find what they mean, then you're in luck as Papago has the answers. Papago, a translation app that has mastered the needs of the beginner to the intermediate, is designed to make you a master of 한국어 (Korean)!

Time to stop scratching your head in confusion and start using these expressions yourself, because our favorite idols post these trendy words often! Check out the list below.

1. Heart stopping - 심쿵

Just like AOA's popular song, this phrase is used when your heart is pacing so fast it is almost like having a 심쿵!

2. You go girl! - 파이팅!

Similar to fighting (화이팅), if your idols are working non-stop on their latest drama or MV, it is great to send them some well wishes. Send them some strength and shout "파이팅!"

3. Great Skin - 꿀피부

It will always remain a mystery as to how K-Pop idols keep their skin looking so fabulous. However, if you follow the Korean trends, your friends will be saying "꿀피부" to you in no time.

4. Jackpot - 대박

Like saying something is beyond amazing, you would use this fun word when something is so unbelievably awesome! The Wonder Girls even gave Nick Cannon a lesson on the word in their movie.

5. Drop Dead Gorgeous - 세젤예

I get it- how can something so small mean so much? Koreans have a habit of breaking down long sentences with the first character of each word. "세상에서 제일 예뻐" means to be "The most beautiful in the world." Just take the first character from each word and boom - 세젤예! You're drop dead gorgeous yo!

6. Mental Breakdown - 멘붕

Sometimes your friends just don't understand your deep love of K-Pop and Korean culture. So much to the point that you could have a 멘붕!

7. wth - 헐

Just like in the intro, when someone says something odd or strange, the only appropriate response is "헐..."

8. Hot Body - 몸짱

All K-Pop idols have it, whether men or women! Take the time out to compliment your bias by saying they have a 몸짱 if they went on a diet recently.

9. Goosebumps - 닭살

It isn't just for when you are scared - maybe your favorite group released a new song that is so good it gave you 닭살!

10.All-Kill - 올킬

When your favorite group achieves something as great as an all-kill on the charts, they are going to brag about it! Make sure you can join in on the bragging and learn this word!

Bonus: Yehet - 예헷

The popular sound that EXO's Sehun makes when he is happy! Everyone can use this word for anything.

Now that you know a handful of the most popular words, check out Naver's newest translation app, Papago, so you can become the trendsetter of Korean slang and expressions!
