Hyoyoung's controversy has reached her drama.

She's a lead actress on the MBC daily drama 'Golden Pouch', and viewers are demanding that she should leave the drama. Her current controversy involving former T-ara member Ahreum as well as her twin sister Hwayoung has many turning their backs on the twins.

'Golden Pouch' is currently taking a break since the 3rd, but not for reasons related to Hwayoung. MBC is instead airing a political special that will air until the 15th in the same timeslot. There is currently no stance from MBC or the drama what will happen to the main character roll.

K-ent companies are so fucking amateur. They make knee-jerk decisions from paranoia, fear, and panic rather than making sound decisions based on rational and quantifiable metrics. Make fucking decisions based on actual data - like ratings - and not the online rantings of shitizen basement dwelling trolls.

Step down you bully. Clearly you've learned too much from the bully tyrant Eunkyo. Go on a bully rehab centre here in Canada.

Sometimes somebody plays the victim one too many times and gets outed by people who no longer have to be silent.

They're skills in acting innocent were pretty good. The biggest mistake they made was striking from the shadows, eventually too many bodies pile up.

honestly, i don't think they should make her step down just because that's very awkward to just switch a lead actress out and it not seeming weirdi just think that if people really don't want to see her1) don't watch2) she shouldn't get more roles but deal with her for this one so that it can flowwell

Well, after the Imperial Flag controversy Tiffany was 'removed' from the cast of "Unnies Slam Dunk" by popular demand and no one complaint about it after, even when she was the most popular member of the show... No wonder why KBS have to change almost the entire cast for the second season.

variety vs drama so it's a little different in my opinion

well yeah, but varieties are different it'll still feel weird without one person, but honestly in variety shows there aren't set roles that need to be filled with this, if she's kicked out they need to get another actress, and it's not like each actress will portray the character in the same way- therefore causing discontinuity.

In Korea, variety and dramas are both are scripted, so it's not that hard to alter it in order to do something like this. It only needs that the writer change the storyline to get rid of a character, even the center one can die or 'go sutdy overseas'. So many characters worldwide have already died in order to achieve this...

You don't necessarily need to put another actress to play the same role, what you need is to change it, in order to get another character take the lead in the story. It wouldn't be the first time a character goes to study or work 'overseas' in a drama... That at least would gave the PD's and the network time to decide what is going to be the final decision.

I doubt they'll switch to another actor. They'll probably just pull the entire series.

bullying is almost like unspoken accepted culture in Korea. Senior/Junior relationship where most it happens. These netizen only dare voiced on the net but most of them dare not speak a word when it happen around them.

I believe you are seeing netizens stand up to liars who perpetuated rumours of bullying and ruined an entire group's reputation. The bullying that status, wealth and age creates in our society is indeed a problem and millenials like myself are trying to change the status quo.

How has SHE suffered? SHE was in 5ive Dolls and had nothing to do with T-ara until she inserted herself in the scandal her sister created and threatened Ahreum. Threatened her.
