On February 28, JYPE made an announcement on 2PM's official fan site. The statement reads as follows:

"Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

We're here to inform that we will take strong legal action against malicious comments, rumors, false information, assaulting statements, and all other posts and comments attacking Jun.K, as well as the other members of 2PM regarding Jun.K's injury that occurred during the concert on the 26th.

We judged that the malicious comments and posts exceed the degree in which we can stay silent as the hearts of many fans, the artist himself, and his family were hurt following the sudden injury. We will take legal action to protect the rights of our label's artist and for their mental health.

Furthermore, we inform that we will continue to take strong legal action against any and all malicious acts that take place from now on."

Jun.K has suffered from a fractured elbow and finger following his stage fall during 2PM's concert on the 26th. Currently, he is taking a rest after a successful surgery

GO JYP!! THATS MY DAD!

Hottest2PMKhun Wednesday, March 1, 2017

he needs to know that it is not his fault that the concert got cancelled, knowing jun k and his personality, i think he will have a tendency to blame himself, i hope his family, jype and his members give him all the support

khunny Hottest2PMKhun Wednesday, March 1, 2017

ikr he's so sensitive and always caring about his fans. i hope he won't apologize for this accident. T__T poor baby.

xximc Wednesday, March 1, 2017

I'm glad JYPE is taking Minjun's injury as serious as they are. This was probably their last for a few years since Minjun and Taecyeon were going to enlist this year and the other members (except for Nichkhun) would soon follow. I'm really sad for Jun.K because he still wanted to continue the tour but JYPE thought it was best for him to fully recover instead but people are still blaming him for the cancellation. I hope he has a speedy recovery so he can see the fans once more before he enlists.

khunny xximc Wednesday, March 1, 2017

if someone is blaming him for the cancellation, they are not "Real" fans. they are just selfish hypocrites who just thinking about their fun. 2PM is not 2PM if there's no Jun. K. He badly injured and had a surgery too. 2PM members love and care their hyung's health than fans. Their friendship level is higher than everything. ♥ I'm happy that 99% of Hottests are supporting their decision. International fans who bought tickets for the concerts are decided to meet in Seoul next week to have a huge hottest gathering. I hope Jun. K will recover soon. ♥

khunny Wednesday, March 1, 2017

* if you know those fans who blaming Jun. K for getting hurt and cancellation, plez ask them to get out from the fandom. Hottests don't need that kind of jerks who don't care about member's health.

I hope ppl stop spreading hate for any idol, it really affects their mentality!

khunny Tuesday, February 28, 2017

People who are talking about "Netizen rights" please search before comment. Those comments were on main naver articles. They are not visible to international people if they didn't follow 2PM updates. Those malicious comments are involving with national army. Jun. K already announced his enlistment in January. so it's a direct threat to his image and 2PM's image in Korea. People are free to comment, but they just can't ruin someone's reputation by spreading false rumors like he fell from the 10 feet high moving stage and broke his hand to avoid military service. JYPE should put those immature asses on jail. Most importantly what kind of people are they to making a badly injured person worried like this? He's already in a pain physically and mentally. People should motivate him instead of putting him down. /sigh I'm really sad and disappointed. T____T Get well soon Jun. K ♥

GGPROTECTOR Tuesday, February 28, 2017

Stop trting so hafd to threaten here and there. People have the right to comment. Ive yet to see anyone spreading mallicious ones about JunK. Instead of hate , theyre spreading love.

GGPROTECTOR Tuesday, February 28, 2017

*stop trying so hard**

GGPROTECTOR khunny Tuesday, February 28, 2017

Well i guess that was reasonable. But yeah international fans kinda have no say since we cant understand korean in naver. Youve got a point there.

bangeryun94 GGPROTECTOR Wednesday, March 1, 2017

Yes, people have the right to comment. And when they're in a country like Korea what the don't have freedom to do is disparage, spread rumours, lie and harrass. That's against the law. They can get fined and even go to jail.

johwa Tuesday, February 28, 2017

...no freedom of speech in korea?.....BUT, if the comments are slanderous/libel....false...then go prosecute !!!  but, if comments are unkind, malicious?...is it grounds for suing?..don't know so am asking...!!

There is ample freedom of speech (or should be but the President who has been impeached censored much of it) however, slandering, spreading rumours or lies about someone is against the law. JYP has announced they're pressing charges. These people are given opportunity to delete their comments and apologise but most don't

ilikeJB johwa Wednesday, March 1, 2017

Try getting "He obviously hurt his hand because he didn't want to enlist" and have all the trouble from the army. Then you'll see how slandering those comments can be. Or even before, try having someone sending you "I'm glad your father is dead" on your twitter and see if that is slandering enough for you?

BakaKaori Tuesday, February 28, 2017

What kind of rumors were people even spreading?

SaVanityVan BakaKaori Tuesday, February 28, 2017

Some people claimed he purposely fell to avoid his upcoming military service, and many fans unwittingly spread hysteria by saying he might have hit his head or seriously injured his back or neck and JYP's covering it up - things like that.

Manami_chan Tuesday, February 28, 2017

get well soon and comeback to stage!!
