According to reports, Woollim Entertainment's rookie girl group Lovelyz received an offer to debut in the U.S. from a famous American producer!

Reportedly, a representative of Woollim stated, "Producer Brent Fischer contacted Lovelyz via their producer Yoon Sang, expressing desire to help Lovelyz debut in the States."

How exciting for Lovelyz! Will we be seeing the girls venture out into pop music in the near future?

I am rly happy for Lovelyz especially bc I am a Woollim stan since 2014, but the US' concept for their music is too liberated I don't think it'll work for Lovelyz. But anyways, kudos to our girls!

wowww that is really good for them, but tbh, i would have thought these famous producers would have contacted some other groups, maybe ones that are more popular,. They have a little bit of a too cute concept that i don't think will work too well in the US, only my opinion tho, thry are otherwise rlly good

Wow!! Brent Fischer!?!? I'm so happy for Lovelyz, they are getting more attention, and from a great composer overseas! I'm worried about debuting in the States though because it hasn't really worked out for anybody.

As much as I would like them, among other kpop artists to come over here and debut... I dont think it would really work out. Its been attempted before with not so great results... but its really cool how they are getting recognition from a well known producer!

i want SK artists to succeed in the US... but Kpop is a style of its own... VERY different from US music...  but now that kpop is so global now is probably its best chance at entering the US market.  i don't know how the states would feel about a 8 member cutesy girl group~

The only fact that they're getting noticed for their vocals and talent is amazing! Slay.

I really like Lovelyz.....but there is NO room for them in the American music market. Even if they completely change their image it's still practically impossible for them to do well over there, girl groups are not in trend right now at all. And I seriously don't want to see these ladies slut-it-up to try to make money over there when they should be focusing on Japan and China.

This guy has worked with many amazing artist (Prince, Michael Jackson, Natalie Cole, Usher and some more) so I think they would do well, I'm just not sure how their image would fit in the U.S...

He is very talented and I think a collaboration would be great, but they should release it in Korea and Japan, not America.

googled him, he looks jewish, it's probably not a good move. He's likely trying to introduce interracial to korea.

Brent Fischer? As in THE Brent Fischer?? The well known jazz musician and composer? THE Brent Fishcer who worked with Michael Jackson, Prince and Usher???? Damn! Get it girls! This probably has to do with their acapella cover of MJ's Beat It. Imagine if Brent Fischer is our key to Lovelyz coming out with that acapella album? I really hope Woollim gives it a lot of thought before they make any decisions. Lovelyz needs to first gain ground in Korea and Asia. And although America would love their acapellas, I doubt they would like the cutesy/innocent concept, and I honestly like Lovelyz as they are now and don't want them to make any drastic changes. What Woollim needs to do is throw out their pride for once and media play this like crazy. I just hope they make the decision that is right for our girls. We all hope that they will rise to the top one day, slowly but surely.

He's been great as a composer, because he's a musician. His work as a producer, however, hasn't ever really been a big hit.

I honestly don't care if he's had hits or not. I'm just hoping he can contribute some of his amazing composing skills to the next Loevlyz album b/c I think they'll do great if they continue on a slight jazz/pop mix track. Plus it'll be something a bit different for the Korean public to have Lovelyz do jazz and pop mix.
