Geeks' Louie, who recently released his 1st solo album 'Hwang Mun Seob' this past April 22, sat down for an interview about his music release.
When asked how BTOB's Sungjae came to feature in his title track, Louie replied with, "I made the song first, then looked for someone to feature in it. I made a list of possible candidates, and when my younger sister saw it, she said, 'Of course it should be Yook Sungjae'. So I went with what she said. I thought it'd be new and appealing."
On working with Sungjae, Louie revealed, "He's a vocalist with a threatening voice. At first, he told me to 'ask him anything I wanted comfortably'. So I asked him to sing the song, and he just straight up sang it in perfect key. From there, I felt comfortable changing things around, and we wrapped up recording in no time. Afterward I thought, if this person made his own songs, it's be very threatening. His vocals can match anyone's tastes."
It sounds like Louie was pretty impressed with Sungjae's singing! Have you listened to his new title track "On the Four Lane Road" yet?
