SBS Power FM's "Cultwo Show" issued an official apology for belittling a religion. On November 24th, "Cultwo Show" released an apology for the November 16th broadcast, in which the program criticized a particular religion. Apparently, Cultwo had broadcasted an episode calling a certain relation a 'pseudo-religious cult'. After the broadcast was aired, many listeners responded with outrage and demanded requests for an apology because they felt the program had made such debased statements against their religion. Consequently, the producers of�"Cultwo Show" posted an apology on the program's homepage titled, "The staff's apology about the November 16th broadcast":

"Utilizing a listener's story from the bulletin board as the foundation, 'Cultwo Show' aired an broadcast on November 16th about a religious group's preaching methods, as well as its communion and baptism ceremony. Due to the producers' mistakes, the authenticity of the story was not confirmed, and details regarding the religion's practices were exaggerated. Its baptism, communion services, and even the color of the baptism robes as well as the atmosphere of the church were portrayed as if they were part of a strange religious institution. We aired the message, "After going to that church's website, [the church] turned out to be a global pseudo-religious cult with 1,350,000 members." We did not mention the name of the religious group, but it was obvious to many people that the hypothetical content from the broadcast was about that religious group, and we caused the 1,350,000 believers and pastors much emotional distress by portraying its Bible-based religious practices as something based on a pseudo-religion. Hereupon we apologize for distressing you. We will work hard to not repeat an incident like this. We promise once again to become a warm and refreshing Cultwo Show."
