On September 25, a video was filmed by one individual showing a group of students beating up another student after getting into an altercation on the road.

The one eyewitness resident who lives close to where the incident took place said, "There were loud noises outside so when I checked it out, it was a group of students fighting with each other." He continued, "A group went over to the parked vehicle and told the driver to get out and as soon as he did so, the group started to assault him. While I was filming, I called the police."

A representative from the police station stated, "A conflict occurred between grade 12 (high school seniors) after they rented out cars and were fooling around on the road cutting each other off. By the time we arrived at the scene, one student's nose was very swollen and was bleeding. Also, one of the students who was beating up that one individual said that it was simply a joke/prank but it did not look like that's the case. The four individuals at the scene are currently being investigated."

Since the video has gone viral with over 1.4 million views on Facebook, many netizens chimed into the situation. Some comments read as the following, "The fact that kids in their teens were able to rent out cars is crazy enough but look how they're hitting the kid. I have no words for kids these days", "Please don't let them off easy, they need to be put away and set them as an example of what kids shouldn't do in the future", "It's because society is so lenient on kids like these that they continue to behave this way", "Kids in their teens are scary these days...how are we supposed to live in a world like this?", and much more.
