Hong Suk Chun shed tears seeing a female contestant choosing to date another female contestant in a Korean dating reality show.
On January 20th, the 11th episode of Wavve original dating reality show 'Love Alarm Clap Clap Clap' aired. In this episode, one of the female contestants, Jasmine, stepped up to choose to date another female contestant, White Rose.
What was more surprising came next. In the show, couples who matched up needed to use their tokens(hearts) to date but the contestant with the most hearts wins so they have to be wise when they are spending their hearts. White Rose surprised everyone by spending all 7 of her hearts for Jasmine.
Hong Suk Chun, who is the most famous openly gay celebrity in Korea, shed tears looking at the two candidly displaying their affection for each other on the show. This marks the first time in Korean dating reality show history that showed a woman loving another woman.
Meanwhile, 'Love Alarm Clap Clap Clap' airs every Friday on Wavve.

oh wow. It must have been a hard decision for her to do this on TV very cool of her. I can see why Hong Suk Chun got emotional he has been through a lot just because he is gay so seeing the younger generation being open on TV hits the heart strings. Had no idea about this show but now I am kinda interested.
