Irene is 10 years older and much prettier (in a more natural way) and I don’t see you doing constant press about it.
Of course he would. He’s a literal dream in human form.
Get well soon angel Tzuyu ❤️
I mean, the poor guy dedicates his heart and soul to the profession and people can’t help harassing him and stalking him on the rare occasion when he has a day off. Everyone would be annoyed
This is easily explained because diplomatic expenses have to be officially budgeted and disclosed to the public. Hence, the government had to pay in advance for certain services of public nature out of its budget for legal reasons (for example, pay for the diplomatic staff that accompanied BTS, as they are their employees by contract), as they do for all diplomatic missions. These are however just advance payments and the compensation for them that HYBE has paid after the mission will be budgeted after.
No issue whatsoever, especially because the economic and diplomatic benefits that this mission will offer South Korea go way beyond the costs it incurred.
But they didn't display their personal info, like ID numbers, etc. This article didn't show the image of the actual display. They also displayed their speech at the UN, whole purpose of the museum is to showcase the artists' achievements (mostly BTS's) so their diplomatic status is considered their achievement.
This is how it looks like:
Thank you for showing how it looked like. They still had to be returned anyway so I really don’t see the point of doing that. In any case, I had no doubt on the fact that personal data hadn’t been showcased, but these are still personal documents belonging to each of them that the company collected (hence took from them). I guess they agreed, but it does seem problematic for me that your company can dispose of your personal belongings like that.
To be honest I thought it was a huge privacy invasion towards BTS, as these are their own ID’s after all. And of course they would have to be returned, it’s standard procedure as the passports were released for a special diplomatic occasion, but are not valid forever because BTS are not permanent diplomats. It seems like HYBE totally missed the point with this one only to brag about it. But it’s not like people go the exhibit for the passports in the first place though
Wouldn’t it be Kai for Exo? I feel like there is a huge discrepancy between the international and SK perception there
Such a simple wish for someone that works so hard. Please JYP do make it happen!
But he DIDNT promote it! PROBABLY in the interest of NOT creating a buying frenzy for a company he owned or help run or whatev- he let ppl either like it or not w/out his influence. If they like and buy; its bc they organically discover the brand
He could not directly tell people to buy it (all the more because he is a Fila spokeperson), hence he showed the clothing on various lives knowing that people would source the brand and buy all the pieces. That is a subtle form of promotion. He’s not naive and doing so once could be a coincidence, but multiple occasions are not. The influencers I am referring to in my initial tweet didn’t per se say to people “buy this branded sweater” but showcased it multiple times to their audience without telling them that it was a partnership of theirs. He was smart in not telling “this is the name of the brand” - but he knew he had people who would do it for him.
I mean, for me it is as simple as that: JK wears the brand he helped creating because he likes the thing he helps creating, which makes sense.
However, from a consumer protection point of view, big scale influencers (like Chiara Ferragni in Italy) have been fined for similar behaviour of promoting something pretending it was genuinely bought while they received it for free or they were actually actively involved in the brand. I guess Korean legislation is less strict than European, but he knows his selling power and hence he knows he is going to make money for himself and his brother while promoting this - which is not problematic. What is problematic is that the consumer doesn’t know. I guess consumers would have been all the more into it nonetheless, but them not knowing was indeed not transparent on his end.
And I say this as a JK stan.
What an absolute icon
Libra baby! Congratulations Bobby and family, all the best :)
Momo and Dahyun out there slayin’ this concept
JK’s vocals on this are so sweet and powerful at the same time and harmonise with Chris Martin’s so well. I melt every time he starts singing his first verse!
I think it is a bad outfit choice not because of her age - it’s fine, it’s just leather and a bit tight, c’mon. But simply because it is a mess of different leathers and a lot of flashy accessories. I know that ITZY’s styling concept is always “the more the better”, but their stylists tend to overdo it a lot of times and that goes to the girls’ detriment. Which is a shame because they are all stunning!
The problem is it SHOULD be mandated in the US, but the different people in change in the different areas in our country are complete idiots. Us not wearing masks is why the delta varient is a rampant here as it is and why so many kids are dying and so many hospitals are full.
You don’t get a fine for things that SHOULD be mandatory according to you but are NOT mandatory according to the local Government. End of the story.
The regulations of the country he is in apply. Hence, mask wearing is not compulsory in the US and hence he was in his right to not wear it. Wearing it would have been an extra care, but not mandatory. He had it in interiors wherever he went, just not in this paparazzi shot. Let him live.
JK’s airport style is amazing. He stays true to his style but he gives it a twist all the time. This look was so catchy and yet a bit dark and hence it was just perfect for him! A polite and stylish king.
I love how the outfits reflected their own personal style so well! Everyone looked iconic. They’re the coolest diplomats in the world - can’t wait for their UNGA intervention!
congratulations to them! I am curious to see the impact that they will make in the industry they work in too, which is anything but sustainable (look just at the amount of paper that goes into it…)
Yeji looks fabulous in these pics!
