A commotion occurred when an ostrich escaped an ecological experience park and roamed the roads in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. 

On March 26, the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced that they received a 119 (similar to 911) report at 9:30 AM that an ostrich was roaming on a road in Jungwon-gu, Seongnam City.

Upon receiving the report, the police and fire authorities dispatched to the scene searched the nearby roads and found the ostrich on the premises of a factory in Sangdaewon-dong at 10:25 AM, capturing it safely. Fortunately, there were no casualties or property damage caused by this incident.

It was determined that the ostrich escaped from a nearby ecological experience park that morning and roamed the streets. The ostrich was returned to the ecological experience park.

A fire department official explained, "We received a related report and, in collaboration with the police, captured the ostrich," adding that "this incident caused no damages or injuries."
