The netizen wrote, "I was tipped off about an abused dog in a college town packed with one-room motels. I was informed that though the residents in the vicinity reported hearing a dog being abused and whimpering and the police were dispatched to the scene, they couldn't properly investigate the situation because [the owner] wouldn't open the door even for the authorities. Then, with the intervention of an animal rights protection group, the landlord, the district's authorities, and even the fire station all gathered at the scene in an attempt to bust open the door; unfortunately, the equipment from the fire station could only inflict small damage on the door, so they tried another method by calling the locksmith, and the firmly shut door finally opened."

The netizen continued, "As soon as they carefully opened the door and crossed over the threshold of the pitch-black entrance, they heard the barking of a dog, and only when they flipped on the light switch, a male student finally got up from his bed. Everyone was said to be speechless at the carefree way the culprit was sleeping despite the pain and fear he instilled in his neighbors, never even bothering to come out and answer his phone."

The netizen then described the awful condition of the dog, saying, "Every inch of the dog's body was marked with injuries from abuse. The student eventually admitted to abusing the dog after trying to justify his actions with some ridiculous excuse to the authorities; he will be rightfully punished with violating animal protection laws. The dog's eyeballs were all ripped...the snout was all swollen..and limping on one leg..the dog had to receive treatment for 6 weeks for all the injuries. Thankfully, there were no fractures but many areas on the body were bruised, and the inflammation and infections were twice as bad as normal."

The OP concluded, "Please allow our bbangsoonyi (cute way in Korean for calling the dog 'bread' or 'baguette') to start a new life," giving the address and contact info for a loving, affectionate family to come find 'Baguette' and take the dog home.
