The high school students who committed horrendous criminal acts of torturing a man with an intellectual disability and conspiring to sell his organs are infuriating the public when they walked into court smiling and holding up 'V' signs, showing no signs of remorse for their heinous crimes.

This past April, three female high school students and 2 male university students abducted 'A,' imprisoned him for 34 hours, physically and sexually abused him, demanded 10 million KRW (~$8,390 USD) from him, and even plotted to harvest and sell his organs. 

On the September 9 broadcast of CBS radio 'Park Jae Hong's News Show,' the mother of the victim, identified as 'B,' gave a detailed account of what transpired after the unfortunate events which befell her son, 'A.' 

'B' brought up the recent trial, recalling, "One of the high school students entered the court while smiling at her mother and held up a peace sign. I cried because I was so angry." 

'B' also related how a mother of one of the students had called her and said, "My daughter is the kindest daughter in the world. We're also being wronged in this so let's just settle with 20 million KRW (~$16,800 USD)," bemoaning the ridiculousness and injustice of the whole situation.  

'A,' under immense trauma from the whole incident, has not only suffered brain damage and lost focus in his retina, but he also reportedly inflicted self-harm by removing three of his toenails. The next trial on this case will be held next week on September 16.
