Yoochun is facing a lawsuit filed by his former manager for unpaid salary and contract disputes.

On March 9, the Seoul Eastern District Court held the trial following a 4-mont hiatus, and Yoochun was reportedly not present. Yoochun's ex-manager Kim is claiming the former JYJ member breached their contract, and he did not receive his agreed-upon salary of 600 million won ($455,598.16 USD) over 6 years. Kim has been Yoochun's manager since his JYJ days as well as under his one-man agency Riciel, who Yoochun accused of improperly distributing profits. 

Kim further claims he was promised a CEO spot at Riciel with a salary of 100 million won ($75,933.03 USD), but he was not paid the salary due to the allegedly unjust termination of his exclusive contract, which led to a loss of 570 million won ($432,818.25 USD).

Yoochun has not publicly responded to the accusations. His next hearing is set for March 27 KST at the Seoul Eastern District Court.
