KARA members shed tears as they reminisce about Hara during their group trip

AKP STAFF

The K-pop industry lost a star in 2019. KARA's Hara was found deceased at her home in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. She was only 28 years old.

Nearly five years have already passed, but many dearly miss her, especially the KARA members. In 2022, KARA made a comeback as a group, bringing nostalgic emotions. The group even received the K-Pop Special Award at the 32nd Seoul Music Awards.

During that time, the members continued to express their affection toward Hara. While receiving the award, member Han Seung Yeon shared, "There's someone who was unable to be here with us today. We will dedicate this award to her."

KARA continues to remember Hara to this day and continues to share their memories of her. The members continued to express their longing for Hara as they set off on a trip together.

On March 20, Wavve released the second teaser for KARA's special 15th-anniversary travel reality show 'It's Just Me, KARA.'

'It's Just Me, KARA' delivers a touching story with the five members of KARA - Gyuri, Seungyeon, Nicole, Jiyoung, and Youngji - as they set off on a trip together to heal and relax together in the backdrop of Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.

In the second teaser, the members are seen sitting down together for a heartfelt talk and expressing their gratitude toward one another. All the members expressed their hopes to continue to be together. Youngji explained, "I liked that we didn't change," and Nicole shared, "I want us to continue being a family for a long time."

In particular, the members candidly talked about the past 15 years they spent together and how they grew together through the ups and downs.

In particular, Gyuri shared, "When I watch someone like the Fin.K.L unnies like on 'Camping Club' I feel a bit jealous and they're also so cool... What changed a lot about me is that I want to spend this life without regrets and I've changed a lot thanks to that one friend. Sometimes I resent her, and sometimes I feel grateful. I don't know," and explained that she can't explain how she feels in words. The members continued to shed tears as they reminisced and also expressed their feelings toward the late Hara.

Meanwhile, 'It's Just Me, KARA' will be airing on March 27 at 11 PM and will air two episodes per week.

I get her, your thoughts about life change, you get more mature, feel older, sometimes your soul is heavier, but all changes must be accepted, and we must be grateful that we're able to continue this Journey for the ones that left
