The Boyz members Younghoon, New, and Q appeared as guests on the latest episode of 'Jaefriends', receiving advice from their K-Pop idol sunbae Jaejoong on how to make life in the military a little easier. 

On this episode, The Boyz member New asked Jaejoong what it was like to serve in the military as an active duty soldier as a top celebrity.

Jaejoong then let his hoobae idols in on one of his secrets, saying, "The first vacation is very important. It's an opportunity for you to gain the upper hand."

He continued, "Everyone gets out for the first vacation at the same time. Some people will take the bus, some people will take the train. But since I was a celebrity, I called for a van to come pick me up in advance." 

While Younghoon, New, and Q reacted with surprise, Jaejoong went on, "I told them, 'Make sure it's the biggest one at the company'. So everyone would see the van coming to pick me up. And then, I asked the senior officers in advance. 'When are you going on vacation?', and then, 'Would you like to have a meal with me in Seoul?'."

The idol excitedly described, "Once the senior officers get released from the base, they'll say, 'What should we ride back home?'. That's when I say, 'Let me give you a ride in my van'." 

Jaejoong then explained, "When the vacation ends and you return to the base, the senior officers start treating you a little differently." 

Later on, Jaejoong also warned the members of The Boyz about another struggle that soldiers in the military deal with on a daily basis, underwear thieves. 

He said, "People always steal your underwear. Even if you write your name on it, it's no use. They only give you a set number of pairs, and they wear out and tear really quickly. Even if the sizes are different, they will steal them." 

When Q's eyes shook with shock, Jaejoong commented, "The more you hear these stories about how difficult it is in there, the more you will know what to expect."
