Hyeri took to social media on the 18th, reflecting on the news of her breakup with Ryu Jun Yeol after an 8-year long relationship that came out last November. She clarified, “The decision to part ways was not impulsive. Even after the breakup news was released, we had conversations about possibly giving it another try.”

Last November, it was reported that my 8-year relationship had ended. This decision was not made hastily, and even after the breakup was reported, we talked about possibly discussing things further. However, we have not had any contact or meetings since that conversation. And 4 months later, the emotions I felt after seeing new reports seemed to be perceived not as actress Lee Hyeri, but simply as Hyeri. I am sorry once again for causing harm through a momentary emotion.

The reason I have not spoken about my actions over the last few days is because our conversations were too private, and I thought it might only increase fatigue. If this caused confusion for anyone, I am sorry for that as well.
