On January 6, THEBLACKLABEL announced the launch of a new girl group, stating, "The girl group we're producing is preparing to debut in the first half of this year. We'll share more details at a later time. We ask for your understanding."

There are numerous rumors that one of the members is from the Shinsegae Chaebol family.

On major social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), photos of the trainees were posted on February 5, and seven individuals can be seen in what appears to be a dance practice room.

Among them was Moon (Moon Seo Yoon), the rumored granddaughter of Shinsegae's chairman Lee Myung Hee, and the daughter of Shinsegae's CEO, Jung Yoo Kyung. Also in the photo were model Ella Gross and dancer Bailey Sok.

Regarding the members, THEBLACKLABEL remained cautious. The label refrained from giving immediate answers to questions regarding whether the individuals in the photos were trainees under their label or had any connection to the debut group.

The agency stated, "Specific details regarding the girl group members that have become a hot topic online will be disclosed at a later date. We ask for your understanding. Thank you."
