Lee Hyori has been announced as the commencement speaker for the upcoming graduation ceremony at Kookmin University, her alma mater. 

An official from Lee Hyori's agency, Antenna, confirmed to Edaily on the 13th that "Lee Hyori is indeed scheduled to attend the 2023 degree conferral ceremony at Kookmin University as a speaker on the 14th." The graduation ceremony at Kookmin University is set to take place at 10:30 AM on the 14th.

Lee Hyori, who majored in Theater and Film as part of the School of Performing Arts at Kookmin University, enrolled in 1998. She made a surprise visit to Kookmin University's festival last fall, which became a topic of conversation.

After enrolling in the Theater and Film department at Kookmin University in 1998, Lee Hyori debuted as a member of the girl group Fin.K.L. She continues to be beloved by many for her music and television appearances. 

Currently, she is hosting KBS2's "The Seasons - Lee Hyori's Red Carpet" and is set to appear in the upcoming JTBC variety show "Mom, Would You Like to Go on a Trip with Me? (working title)" slated for its first broadcast in May.
