The thrilling chase with Son Suk Goo and Choi Woo Sik on upcoming drama

Netflix has released the main poster and trailer for its upcoming series 'A Killer Paradox'. The show follows the story of an ordinary man who accidentally starts committing murders and the relentless detective pursuing him. Released on the 29th, the main poster stirs curiosity with the contrasting atmospheres of the characters Lee Tang (played by Choi Woo-sik) and Detective Jangnangam (played by Son Seok-koo) at the same murder scene.

The poster features Lee Tang drenched in the rain, standing precariously with a dazed expression, turbulent eyes, and a hammer in hand, hinting at the life-altering moment of his first unintentional murder. The extraordinary aura of Detective Jangnangam at the crime scene is also intriguing. His sharp gaze and the about-to-burst bubble gum evoke an unexplainable tension.

A notable aspect is the copy line 'A person died, A person killed', which subtly indicates the peculiar relationship between Lee Tang, the accidental murderer, and Detective Jangnangam, who is chasing him, amplifying the curiosity.

The main trailer begins with the day that completely changed Lee Tang's life, where he accidentally kills someone. As he struggles with fear and guilt, Detective Jangnangam arrives on the scene, making an impactful statement that he understands the feeling of wanting to kill someone. The trailer hints at the psychological warfare between the two characters.

The mood shifts abruptly with a news clip revealing that Lee Tang's first murder victim was a vicious serial killer. The narration, "After killing, they turned out to be 'deserving to die'. I killed two people, but there's no evidence," hints at Lee Tang's transformation from a murderer to a punisher(?). Lee Tang's journey continues unabated as encouraged by someone saying, "Just do as you feel." This is contrasted with the eerie appearance of Songchon (played by Lee Hee-joon), raising the stakes.

As Detective Jangnangam fervently pursues Lee Tang and Songchon, and Lee Tang faces his own terrifying reflection in the mirror, the copy 'A God-sent hero or a sinner to be judged?' dramatically increases the heart rate. Lee Tang's determination, "Even if there are no answers, this is my choice," piques interest in the ensuing chase.

'A Killer Paradox' is based on the webtoon known for its sensational storytelling. The series, directed by Lee Chang-hee, known for genre works like 'Strangers from Hell' and 'The Vanished Night', is set to release on February 9th.

Someone went to town with over the top adjectives all through this article! I couldn't see any "turbulent eyes" 🤣 in the poster (nor a hammer for that matter), still it was an interesting read and I look forward to watching it 😊
