Singer Yoon Sang and Anton, a member of the group RIIZE, will meet at the ‘2023 MBC Music Festival’ airing on December 31st. Hosting this year’s show are Lim Yoon-ah, returning for her ninth consecutive year, SHINee’s Minho, and rising MC star Hwang Min-hyun. 

The event features a star-studded lineup including &TEAM, (G)I-DLE, 2am, aespa, ATEEZ, Baekho, BEBE, Boyz Next Door, CRAVITY, DAY6, ENHYPEN, Fantasy Boys, fromis_9, Hyoyeon, ITZY, IVE, LUCY, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, NCT U, NIJU, NMIXX, RIIZE, SHINee, STAYC, Stray Kids, V1LLION by 1MILLION, Zero Base One, Kwon Eun-bi, Dynamic Duo, THE BOYZ, Youngtak, ONTOP, Yoon Sang, Lee Young-ji, Lee Juck, Jang Minho, Juju Secret, Kep1er, Paul Kim, and others.

Yoon Sang and Anton’s interaction is particularly noteworthy. Anton, a member of SM Entertainment’s new boy group RIIZE, launched seven years after NCT, gained attention as the son of singer Yoon Sang and actress Shim Hye-jin. Yoon Sang has expressed his affection for his son through various broadcasts. In a recent appearance on SBS’s ‘You Are My Destiny,’ Yoon Sang shared, ‘My son started swimming at age five and was a junior championship winner in New Jersey. When swimming pools closed due to COVID-19, he decided to pursue music.’ In response to seeing his son sing, Yoon Sang commented, ‘He still has a small part, and I’ve never sung in front of my family.’

Anton, at the ‘RIZING DAY: RIZE Press Premiere’ held in September, responded to Leeteuk’s question about working with his father, ‘It seems unlikely, but it would be an honor. Working with my dad would be a great opportunity.’ The 2023 MBC Music Festival featuring Yoon Sang and Anton airs live on December 31st at 8:30 PM (KST).
