VIXX's N posted a handwritten letter to his fans for sitting out VIXX's first comeback in 4 years. 

Following the group's comeback announcement by Jellyfish Entertainment, VIXX's group leader N posted a handwritten letter to his fans for sitting out the group's long-awaited comeback. 

He wrote, "I'm not sure how to put this into words." "I'm sorry that I couldn't participate in the activities for this album so I can't greet you on stage."

He continued, "I've been talking and discussing with the members for a long time, but in the end, I was unable to participate in this activity as a VIXX leader N, and I'm sorry to disappoint the fans once again." 

"I'm very grateful and sorry to Taekwoon, Jaehwan, and Hyuk for still recognizing me as the eldest member of VIXX and for sharing their concerns with me. So even though I won't be able to participate in this album, I will support them with all my heart, hoping that the new memories of VIXX and Starlight will be beautifully recorded," he added.

Finally, he thanked his fans, saying, "I filled my 20s with VIXX, and although I'm in my 30s, I'll never forget that my roots are VIXX. I'll do my best to show you the best. I'm grateful, as always."

However, his letter met with rather negative reactions from fans. Fans commented: 

"Why don't you just officially leave without holding fans' hope as hostage?"

"So irresponsible team leader."

"I don't understand him being present for recruiting fans but then he sits out from the album production, promotion, and group's concert."

"Hyuk is also not under Jellyfish but he's doing his best for the group promotions."

"But he would still call VIXX songs as his songs when he's in variety shows promoting his dramas lol" 

"I literally just saw him on Amazing Saturday..."

"Leo and Ken are also busy with musicals lol I now don't even want to know the reason why he is doing this."

Meanwhile, VIXX will be making their first comeback since 2019 as a 3-member group without N on November 21 at 6 PM KST. N's agency 51K stated that N had a scheduling conflict with his drama filming so N has decided to sit out this comeback after a thorough discussion with the members.
