On the 8th, the movie 'The Marvels' was released. The news of Korean actor Park Seo Joon joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe had raised high expectations among many domestic fans. However, he received criticism for his brief appearance of around 5 minutes and his one-time cameo role.

Around one hour into the movie, actor Park Seo Joon appears as Yon, who plays the role of Atlas' prince. Yon, the prince who appears in a flashback scene, interacts with Captain Marvel by singing and dancing, as the planet of Atlas uses music and dance as their language. While this scene serves as a mood transition in the film, it was quite different from the expectations of Korean fans. In another scene, Yon leads his army into battle against the Devan-Verse army, and he briefly showcases his action skills, wielding a sword twice before the scene concludes.

On the 7th, director Nia DaCosta, during a press conference in South Korea, described Park Seo-joon's role as Yon as "short but impactful." After the film's release, audience reactions included comments like "Park Seo-joon's fans shouldn't have overly high expectations," "It's worth watching if you don't expect too much from Park Seo-joon," and "Goose the cat is adorable."

'The Marvels' was released on the 8th and is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
