The League of Legends (LoL) World Championships, often referred to as Worlds, is an annual esports tournament hosted by Riot Games for the popular multiplayer online game. LoL is one of the most prestigious and highly anticipated esports events in the world, bringing together the best professional teams from around the globe to compete for the title of World Champion.

Amid the excitement of T1's final win, netizens took to online forums to celebrate and congratulate the members' victory against Weibo (WBG), three-nil. Short clips of the winning championship moment as well as the Instagram updates of Faker and his supporters flooded the post.

Following this game, Faker has officially cemented his status as the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) by securing his 4th World Championship.

On online forums, netizens also shared the excitement expressed by Seventeen's Wonwoo, a well-known fan of T1 and esports. In his Instagram Story post, he tagged all the members of T1 with words of congratulations. Fans in the comments section also humorously pointed out that, judging by the timing, Wonwoo "probably posted it right after landing in Japan" to prepare for Seventeen's 'Follow' tour.
