Oh My Girl's Hyojung has tested positive for COVID-19.

On July 31 KST, Oh My Girl's Hyojung was confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19 and thus, will not be joining Oh My Girl for their scheduled activities for the time being. Their agency, WM Entertainment, released an official statement following Hyojung's postive test results.

Below is WM Entertainment's official statement:

"Hello, this is WM Entertainment.

Here is the information about Oh My Girl's Hyojung regarding her positive test results for COVID-19.

Hyojung was confirmed to have COVID-19 in a preemptive rapid antigen test today (July 31) after experiencing mild cold symptoms.

Hyojung will be suspending all her schedules for five days and take all necessary measures to rest in accordance with the quarantine authorities' guidelines. Except for Hyojung, all the other [Oh My Girl] members have tested negative, and did not experience any abnormal symptoms at the moment.

Therefore, all members [of Oh My Girl] will be attending their scheduled events with the exception of Hyojung, who will resume her activities after her recovery is confirmed.

We consider the health and safety of our artist as a top priority, and we will do our best to focus on supporting [Hyojung's] treatment.
