On the morning of July 12 KST, BTS member Jungkook appeared in front of fans and the press at Incheon International Airport, catching a flight to New York for his upcoming performance on 'Good Morning America's '2023 Summer Concert Series'. 

The idol seemed to be in a great mood as he smiled and showered not only the fans, but the press as well with his natural aegyo. 

However, there was one fleeting moment during the idol's airport appearance that gave fans a significant scare.  

As Jungkook entered the airport and waved to his fans, lined up on either side of him and separated from him by safety lines, one alleged "fan" can be seen breaking free from the crowd to go after the BTS member. 

Fortunately, the security guards surrounding Jungkook on all sides as well as watching him from a safe distance behind him stepped up quickly, safely preventing the individual from reaching Jungkook and deterring any unforeseen incidents. 

The fleeting moment brought on a mix of relief and concern for many onlookers, as they commented, 

"I'm so glad he didn't see her... He looked so happy... Imagine how that smile would have just disappeared if he'd seen her."

"Thank goodness the security guards stepped in just in time."

"I got goosebumps watching this."

"OMG, that could have been dangerous."

"The security guards did their job well."

"Apparently she tried it twice;; I'm so glad Jungkook didn't see it."

"That seriously scared me."

"Be careful Jungkook TT."

"What a crazy ahjumma... I'm so relieved Jungkook didn't see her."

"Everyone else is staying behind the lines like you're supposed to. Why would she do that?"

"So rude and scary. Respect the artist if you love them!"
