"Everything was perfect", Psy's post regarding his recent 'Summer Swag 2023' concert in Yeosu draws criticism due to insensitivity to the flash flood in Korea

Psy's post regarding his recent 'Summer Swag 2023' show in Yeosu drew criticism due to the insensitivity to the flash flood in Korea.

On July 16 KST, Psy took to his personal social media account and wrote, "Where the audience, the staff, the guests, the weather, and everything was perfect in Yeosu, sincerely Psy, the South Korean singer." While this message seemed completedly harmless, Psy's caption stirred a lot of controversy. This was because just this past weekend, the entire nation was in a state of emergency due to the heavy rain and flash flood, leading to some unfortunate accidents. Thus, Psy's post seemed a bit insensitive to the current state of disaster. Possibly due to this realization, Psy deleted his post shortly after and replaced the caption with the hashtags '#summerswag2023Day5 #PsySummerSwagShow2023Yeosu #ThankYou'.
