Surveillance footage recently emerged revealing the alarming incident of actor Jin Ye Sol's drunk driving. The video footage showed the dangers associated with driving while impaired.

On the evening of June 12, at approximately 10:30 PM, Jin Ye Sol was found driving while intoxicated along the Olympic-daero highway, spanning Songpa-gu and Gangdong-gu, towards Hanam in Seoul. Shockingly, she collided with the guardrail twice while driving under the influence.

TV Chosun News obtained and subsequently released a dashcam recording from a motorist trailing Jin Ye Sol, which documents the alarming chain of events. The video captures Jin Ye Sol's white SUV executing erratic maneuvers on the road's first lane, swerving wildly at high speeds before hitting the guardrail. Despite the vehicle's erratic movements, Jin Ye Sol continued driving, leading to a subsequent collision with the guardrail yet again.

Jin Ye Sol continued her perilous lane-changing maneuvers until she eventually exited the Olympic-daero highway. Around 10 pm, after consuming alcohol at an establishment located in Gangnam-gu, she embarked on a journey spanning approximately 18km (11.2 miles). The intoxicated driving ended when she fell sleep at a traffic signal in Gangdong-gu. It was at a traffic light that she was apprehended. 

On the following day, Jin Ye Sol took to Instagram to offer a handwritten apology. She expressed deep remorse, recognizing her failure to fulfill her responsibilities as a public figure and admitting to the grave error in judgment that led to this incident. She wrote, "I will reflect upon myself moving forward. I am sincerely sorry and profoundly ashamed."

DI Entertainment, her agency, responded to the situation, acknowledging the inexcusable nature of Jin Ye Sol's actions and her intoxicated state while driving.
