HB Entertainment will be taking legal action against Goo Hye Sun for alleged financial damage and mental anguish.

The actress lost her lawsuit against her former label for unpaid fees, and she revealed her intention to appeal the court's decision. On June 20, HB Entertainment announced they'll be taking legal action against Goo Hye Sun as they've allegedly suffered financial damage and mental anguish due to the ongoing dispute regarding her exclusive contract.

HB Entertainment stated, "HB Entertainment is suffering serious property damage and mental anguish to our employees and artists due to the continuing legal response related to the disputes and lawsuits related to Goo Hye Sun's exclusive contract, which are based on false claims made over the years."

According to the label, Goo Hye Sun is "posing as a victim with false facts" and has damaged HB Entertainment's reputation and credibility. HB Entertainment continued, "As she was under our label for a while, we refrained from media reports and responded legally to her unfair escalations for several years. We can no longer ignore the matter, so we'll proceed with legal action against all false announcements and reports made by Goo Hye Sun."

HB Entertainment also stated that the Korea Commercial Arbitration Board and court found that the label does not owe any unpaid wages to Goo Hye Sun.
