Former AOA's Chanmi opened up about extreme dieting in the girl group.

On the June 20th episode of 'Free Doctor', Chanmi, who now goes by the name Lim Do Hwa, featured as a guest along with her mother. Her mother talked about watching her daughter diet, saying, "I don't cook food during holidays. I didn't because I knew my daughter would have to lose weight after eating it. I felt sorry to her."

Lim Do Hwa then said of her time with AOA, "I starved a lot. I cut an apple into 4 pieces a day and only ate 1 at a time. Eith erthat or I would eat 2 eggs and constantly drink carbonated water." 

She also said about Mnet's 'Queendom Puzzle', "I got the chance as a singer again, so I decided to appear. I met my friends who are active singers for the first time in a while, and they were really skinny. They're skinnier on average than when we were active as a group. I felt like I couldn't continue like this, so I'm dieting again."
