It's the most wonderful time of the year for Jimin fans worldwide. October, commonly known as JIMTOBER (Jimin + October), is a precious month because it is Jimin's birth month! He was born on the 13th of October 1995.

To celebrate his birthday, fans are said to have planned and even initiated more than 300 special projects in commemoration. There have been large-scale ones like a customized Jimin plane; LED screens in South Korea, worldwide, and even outside the United Nations; various donations and support towards the vulnerable & endangered wildlife species worldwide, and more. The projects have gone to show that Jimin's fans are not limited when it comes to showing love for their favorite idol; they also show the humanitarian spirit shared between idol and fans.

Therefore on this day, fans showed their enthusiasm for Jimtober and welcomed it by trending several tags & keywords like (#HelloJimtober, HAPPY JIMTOBER, WELCOME JIMTOBER,짐토버_잊_커밍, #짐토버가_시작된거_가타여) together with their lovely messages. These in became hot topics on Twitter with #HelloJimtober ranking #1 worldwide and in South Korea; #짐토버_잊_커밍 at four and HAPPY JIMTOBER #7 Worldwide. This happened in more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, The United Kingdom, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and France.

To honor Jimtober in a special way, several heartwarming support projects were done in Jimin's name. One of Jimin's largest fanbases Jimin Data on Twitter announced that they had adopted a sea turtle hatchling through the World Wide Fund under Jimin's name to raise awareness on the importance of marine life, Canadian Fanbase Jimin United also donated towards UNICEF Canada and the PCRF to support vulnerable children worldwide. In Vietnam, Jimin's fan Jimin's bookshelf- a charity project initiated by Celina Nguyen contributed 10 Million Vietnamese Dong towards UNICEF Vietnam for the Reimagine Education Project.

In addition to these activities, Jimin ended the month of September on a high note by maintaining his top position on the Global KDOL Idol community, making it his 14th month reigning in the Hall of Fame.
