Dicon magazine 10th issue which features BTS has been released yesterday, and Jungkook made headlines as his solo cover version becomes a best-seller on South Korea's Gmarket. 

Apparently, Jungkook's Dicon magazine solo cover becomes a hot item in Japan too. Jungkook's cover ranks at #62 on Rakuten K-POP Daily Ranking, the highest-ranking BTS x Dicon solo cover.

Jungkook's solo cover is also the highest-selling solo cover in the United States, as it ranks #2 after BTS group cover on Global Gmarket. Given Jungkook's immense popularity in the U.S., this shouldn't come as a surprise.

Not only Jungkook, his songs are enjoying solid popularity in Japan too. 'Your Eyes Tell,' the Japanese OST composed and written by Jungkook and originally intended for his mixtape, had spend a total of 17 weeks on Billboard Japan Hot 100. It also spends its 22nd week on Billboard Japan Streaming Song chart. That's a lot of charting-weeks, and it speaks volume of the song's longevity on Japanese charts.

'Your Eyes Tell' received major love when it first dropped on July 14th, especially in Japan. It debuted at #8 on Billboard Japan Hot 100, and was the biggest streaming week debut on Oricon for a Korean act in history before 'Dynamite' took over the throne. It charted at #1 on iTunes Japan, surpassed the most popular Japanese singer and chart digimon Kenshi Yonezu's new song. It also debuted at #1 on Oricon Daily chart with 13,089 sales, which became BTS's highest debut sales on this chart.

'Your Eyes Tell' charted at #1 on popular Japanese charts i.e. LINE Music Daily and Real-time, Mora Daily and Real-time, also Recochoku Daily, which is harder for K-pop acts to infiltrate. The OST is the first BTS song to top all 8 biggest music markets on iTunes and the fastest song by an Asian act to reach 100 #1's on iTunes.

Besides 'Your Eyes Tell,' Jungkook's solo song 'Euphoria' is also thriving in Japan, remains popular despite being released in 2018. The song charts at #11 on Japan’s Joysound Karaoke Year-End Chart for the Top 20 most popular K-pop songs of 2020, the only BTS solo song charting. It is also the first and only BTS song to enter the chart for 2 consecutive years.
