A meeting held on October 30 with Mnet and several YG senior officials have discussed the possible presence of TREASURE on the said award show. According to them, this is due to TREASURE as the only 2020 rookie group who showcased a huge growth in short amount of time, which gives a high possibility of the group being expected on MAMA 2020 stage.

If this ever happens, TREASURE will be the first-ever YG Entertainment artist to attend the annual Mnet Asian Music awards in 5 years. Meanwhile, they are currently nominated for the Best New Male Artist category.
