‘Parasite’ makes SAG awards history

Parasite continues to break records this award season by becoming the first foreign language film to win the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) award for Best Ensemble, the top prize of the night. 

Five of the main cast members, Song Kang Ho, Lee Sun Kyun, Choi Woo Shik, Park So Dam and Chang Hyae Jin were in attendance to receive the award while director Bong Joon Ho sat in the audience cheering on his cast. 


Parasite has been racking up awards this season having already won the Palme d’Or and the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film. It also became the first South Korean made film to be nominated for Best Picture for the Oscars and is also nominated for Best Director, Best Foreign Film, Best Original Screenplay, Best Production Design and Best Film Editing.

It's great they've won all the awards.. Missing only an Academy Award, but I'm sure they'll get that one too! 🤩

I loved this movie (especially Park So Dan's actiing) and am happy it's having so much success. Hopefully it will inspire others to give foreign language films a chance, since there are so many great films out there.
