Recently, it was announced that Apink would be a featured guest for Houston convention, Anime Matsuri. Attendees would be allowed to buy themselves packages to attend a Q&A and autograph session during their time at the convention.

However, some people are expressing their concerns with Apink going to the convention, specifically over several accounts of sexual assault/harassment by the staff and even the CEO of the convention.

Several Twitter threads have been posted alongside the hashtag, #BoycottAnimeMatsuri, and are aimed to grab the attention of PlayM Entertainment (Apink's company) and even the group themselves, to cancel their appearance at the convention.
