this is for all of those who were sceptic about how secure YG is =))

judyi Thursday, May 11, 2017

Big Bang is incredible to pull off so much money in but haven't released anything. Winner did such an amazing album, i hope it becomes long lasting in the charts. Next up after Psy will most likely be IKON or they might wait until GD releases music and then go into Ikon. Not sure as seeing that YG decided to re-do Ikon's second Music video just because he didn't like it. GD will be holding his Act Motte tour which will top YG's income once again and Taeyang and Seungri are said to release something soon as well. I can picture their long lasting songs on the charts right now.

2017 is YG year.

talentstan Thursday, May 11, 2017

first half - akmu, winner, hyukoh, sechskies, psy. daesung, zion t. second half - i'll be expecting ikon, lee hi, blackpink, (lee hi and blackpink need concert and fanmeeting please!)im a ygfamily stan but i think bb should rest this year, just let their hoobaes go all out! bb can come back anytime cause no one can beat them, but the hoobaes need to find the right time to come back,

LovelyGirl81 talentstan Thursday, May 11, 2017

What? BB can't come back this year cause TOP is serving right now. but GD, Taeyang, Seungri will make a comeback. GD and Taeyang already announced their world tour. Don't worried all of them will make a comeback.

judyi LovelyGirl81 Thursday, May 11, 2017

BigBang is Taeyang, GD, Seungri and Daesung both as a group and individually. Even GD and the rest of the members have said it before. BB is 5 or 1 or 2 or 3 each of them are BB.

talentstan LovelyGirl81 Thursday, May 11, 2017

yeah, i mean their solo comeback! yupp i know about gd's tour. but never thought it would be that fast.

JiYongKwonsWife talentstan Friday, May 12, 2017

GD and Taeyang are going in the military together soon, probably after their tours. After them it will be Daesung and then Seungri.

southclubstan Thursday, May 11, 2017

They let winner and akmu out of the dungeon and half of the money is from ikon and Daesang dome tour

talentstan southclubstan Thursday, May 11, 2017

and not to forget, akmu's concert too, which is still ongoing

Longan_Lychee Thursday, May 11, 2017

CrapG is dumb as fuck. He’s keeping his artists in the dungeon for the sake of giving them a ''mysterious’’ image. Stupid asshole is letting his talent wilt away in that dungeon and he’s just focusing on real estate and construction work, oh and getting those actors. For example that over-hyper plastic nosed Lee Jong Suck, who’s best acting work to this date has been school 2013 lol..

michinpabo Thursday, May 11, 2017

"If we use our artists more, we make more money" - YG's mind blown.

YG'S doing really well thanks to Winner , Psy and BB i expect it will get higher once bp and ikon AKMU and lee hi make their comeback. There's still SM and JYP to consider though sm (exo ,gg.suju comeback) and JYP's got TWICE and GOT7 which means there's STRONG competion. But this is still probably YG'S year since there doing the best this quarter.

DeusInAbsentia xoxoKPOPxoxo Thursday, May 11, 2017

Would it be fair to add in the revenue they would get from their sub-labels as well? They would get a cut of the profit, and seeing how these sub-labels are dong well so far.

xoxoKPOPxoxo DeusInAbsentia Thursday, May 11, 2017

Kinda... i mean the sub-labels are still basically under the same label but see where you're getting at...

judyi xoxoKPOPxoxo Thursday, May 11, 2017

YG is doing well thanks to Big Bang still but their second biggest money maker is actually Ikon.

DeusInAbsentia judyi Saturday, May 13, 2017

Really? I wouldn't think that IKON would be cashing in so much, don't they mainly promote in Japan?

love_youu DeusInAbsentia Sunday, May 14, 2017

But Japan is a bigger market than SK, so they make a whole lot more

maragana Thursday, May 11, 2017

Calling it 5 months in: this is YG's year.

Max_South maragana Thursday, May 11, 2017

It is interesting; I do not track sales/profits, but maybe this year is JYP or SM or iBigHit? Who is among the four had bigger sales, and who is among the four had bigger profits in Q1? Thanks in advance. :)

eyyopop Max_South Thursday, May 11, 2017

Bighit only have BTS as the only act that brings in income, while the other three have several acts who can bring in big income as well, not just music but other fields as well. Since they have branced out to drama, restaurants, cosmetic, etc. So iBighit have a long way before they can even catch up to the big3.

purnhub Max_South Thursday, May 11, 2017

daesung's japan tour and album alone can beat bighi's profit for Q1

dysdys purnhub Thursday, May 11, 2017

LOL :D
