Marking six years since their official debut, girl group Brave Girls recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Yonhap News presented by TongTong TV.

Relaunching as a five-member group over the course of two years, Brave Girls returned with their fourth mini album 'Rollin'"We're taking everything in as if we were still rookies," the girls commented. Despite losing members, Brave Girls were grateful for support from fans. Minyoung said, "Things appear to be settling down for the most part. We appreciate all the support from people surrounding us."

The girls talked about their new concept and emphasized on the term 'change.' Yoojung stated, "We didn't want to give the wrong impression by being overtly sexy. We did our best to work our way around it in order to present a 'sophisticated sexy' vibe."

Regarding their intense dance choreography, the girls commented, "It was definitely scary at first. We practiced really hard even taking time over Lunar New Year, but there's no need to worry now." On their success, the girls mentioned, "We get so excited whenever we hear 'Rollin' playing in the streets. It makes us believe the hard work had paid off after all."

Brave Girls wished to stick together, saying, "The five of us will continue to work hard. There won't be any changes happening for quite some time," assuring their fans.

I know that they are not rookies, but I was not aware that they've been around for 6 years already.

Brave Girls debuted on 2011 with another line-up. They went on hiatus for a long time and then they re-debuted on 2016 with Deepened. Only two of the original members were in this new line-up but a few months ago one of the original members left (she left to focus on her studies) and the other original member is on hiatus due to health issues. The 5 girls in this interview are all new members (from the line-up that debuted on 2016).

Their song is such a bop, they should definitely be more popular and get more recognition. Plus their vocals are damn good! Yujeong's smile though <3

Well, it's just that the Brave Girls are temporarily a quintet for the time being because of course Yoojin left the group to focus on her academic studies and yes, once again, Hyeran is currently putting her activities on hold for now to focus on taking care of her undisclosed health issues.  But not to worry though because she sure will be coming back to the group once she's all healthy once again, thus making it a six member group with currently no plans on adding any new members at this point.  So yeah, we are seeing a quintet version of the Brave Girls for the time being.
