On January 17, the entertainer admitted his wrongdoing through Instagram, "It is true I played the wrong selection song. I made a mistake at that very moment. I will be more careful in choosing songs from now on."
Prior to this, Park Myung Soo was DJ'ing at a club in Seoul, hosting an EDM performance on January 14, when he was accused of playing an illegal version of the song "Grand Opera" by DJ Jewelz & Sparks.
Instead of purchasing the song, he played DJ Hardwell's podcast version, sparking much controversy. Not only that, DJ Jewelz & Sparks posted the link of Park Myung Soo and not purchasing the music, saying, "Hahaha...make sure this doesn't happen to you... better get our track on beatport."
Meanwhile, netizens have been flaring, commenting, "It's not 'I won't do it next time', how about giving a proper apology to Hardwell, what kind of apology is that?" "Would you have used an illegal source if it really were your favorite artist? Just apologize already."
