Pentagon may be just-debuted rookies, but their future already looks promising!

The boys will be holding their 'Pentagon Mini Concert [TENTASTIC - Vol. 1]' on December 6th, less than two months after their October 10th debut. Cube Entertainment had revealed that they decided to hold Pentagon's first concert because Korean fans sent in many requests of a Korean concert after their December 10th showcase in Japan was revealed.

And as expected since the concert was requested by fans, the boys sold out all of their seats within 8 minutes. Cube Entertainment said, "We sincerely thank fans for their support, and we'll give back by putting on a great performance by preparing to our fullest."

Congratulations Pentagon!!! This is coming from a SF9 fan. I hope both our groups will do well since our groups are friends.

Even if its a small venue with only a few seats (not 5000 or 10000), its still an achievement. The fact that they chose a small venue for the first concert means that CUBE/Pentagon was also not sure that it will be successful since its only been a month since their debut. They're surprised and happy for the support. I'm happy to see popular groups with lots of album sales, download achievements, MV views of millions but I'm equally happy to see the groups I stan (no matter how unpopular or flopped they may be for others) do well too.

How many tickets sold exactly? Their debut album didn't do so well in term of sell if I'm not mistaking. I wouldn't say that it flopped per say but yeah... considering the fact that they went through this whole survival show which really was only a means to promote them before debuting, I expected them to do much better; and now all of a sudden they sell out their first ever concert... I need taggivle and concrete facts, actual numbers, what kind of article is this? AKP seriously doesn't do proper reporting, theyvsimply translate news of Korean outlets. Ludicrous.

who said their album didnt do well? it did very good, it was on Gaon for Physical Albums for at least 2 weeks and on Tower records kpop chart on japan, for they have sold at least 10k albums at least and for a rookie tha's good number, and is you just read the Article, it says "Pentagon Mini Concert [TENTASTIC - Vol. 1]" it's a mini concert and the venue is for 2000-2500

Selling 10k or plus albums isn't doing "well", far from it. Given the exposure they got from their survival show, I personally expected them to do better, but then again their debut wasn't all that bad. They are at from being a household name yet—they've only been in the game for a hot minute. As for the numbers you mentioned I have my doubts as I haven't been able to find anything concrete on the matter in terms of tangible numbers, anywhere online. Whatever you say. Good on them though.

More like 14k+ and keep on climbing up. They have achieved no. 1 in Synnara. The survival show helped them in gaining popularity but because of Cube issues in July, their debut was cancelled and delayed. Then people forget about them. Well, some.. Suddenly, BAM! Going to debut on 10th October. And everyone was like "what just happened?"

I wouldn't blame it on cube's internal issue & I don't think people forget about them considering their reality show wasn't that popular. FNC's rookie boy group has been doing non-stop promos before their debut with longer promotions (they're still promoting) & they sold 17.5k copies album with 9 fansigns

Their reality show is most likely to be called as 'cruel' and that is where people started to recognise them. I am not if it was popular or not because truthfully speaking, I was out of kpop world since 2014 and hated everything about it and that is until Pentagon came out. AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY HAD A REALITY SHOW MWAHAHAHAHAHA

mostly because it wasnt like other mnet shows, while Win, No Mercy, Produce 101, M&M and i think boys 24, were aired on a TV channel, Mnet main channel, while Pentagon Maker was aired on Mnet secondary internet channel M2, the difference in exposure is really big

Um did you have to bring sf9 into this? I hate when people compare their popularity because it's a completely different scenario. Pentagon's debut was delayed by months and sf9 had loads of promotion in addition to dob (click your heart). l know pentagon didn't do well compared to other rookies this year, but as a cube stan i was shocked to see this achievement. even if it is a small venue the tickets still sold out which is great.

I'm not impressed until I know how many tickets were sold? I'll tell you right now they ain't sell out an Olympic arena like ikon so what was it? 800-2000 tickets? That's cute

Is that really necessary? If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all.

Comparing iKon to Pentagon? Really? Because if my sane mind says that iKon is from big af company. Money is everywhere. Oh and you know what, I expect iKon can bring a million to the company for one single/album but they didn't. This is what I called sense. This group hasn't debut that long. FETUS. Moreover, coming from Cube, this is really UNEXPECTED. Cube has a lot of issues with money and management right now unlike the other companies. Of course everyone will hype, They are actually shocked to know that the tickets were sold out when it was just a mini concert with a mini album. If they have many singles and too many albums then you can sing your song. But we all know that it isn't right now.

why do you bring ikon here if it doesnt have anything to do with it in the first place? if you want to brag about ikon go somewhere else and let fans enjoy the news

i get your point but why did you have to bring ikon into this. (the venue is about 2,000 to 3,000 people) um considering the situation cube is in at the moment, selling 2,000 tickets is a great achievement for the group. Ikon's case was very different. Firstly they were already really popular before they debuted. and they're not called yg groups for no reason. not selling out in an olympic arena with thousands of people would have been embarrassing.
