YG Entertainment's rookie girl group, Black Pink, shared about the label's dating ban.

Rose, JisooLisa, and Jennie were asked about YG's rules on dating during a recent interview. In response, the girls revealed that Yang Hyun Suk frequently talks to them about boys. Jennie explained, "Since the first day I entered YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk sajangnim told me to always be careful of boys. I think dating bans will always exist during our time under the label."

The "no boyfriend rule" might work as long as they are really young but when you reach 25 - 26 and older it's a bit stupid...

Basically to be very careful of male seniors, and not date them. One of them I think Dasom? Said to just stay home. I have a feeling it can be quite dangerous for girls in the industry.

Oh! Ok thanks! I agree. I can't imagine. Especially with the number of sponsors that are said to contact rookies and sketchy people in general

Gotta protect them. At least for the first few years of their career.

I'm not surprised/against dating bans when you are a rookie in both entertainment/other work fields, it helps you avoid distractions, there is gonna be time for all that in the future so no worries :)
