Red Velvet say they're now experts on losing weight!


On the September 13th airing of 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time', the members talked about how they went on a diet for their comeback with "Russian Roulette". Joy stated, "We have developed dieting methods over the years. In the past, we just starved ourselves to lose weight, but now we go on a diet by exercising. I didn't weigh myself, so I don't know how many kgs I lost exactly, but this time I lost weight easily."

Wendy also added, "In the past, we used to worry about not being able to eat, but after receiving so much love, we can now control ourselves from food. I think it's all thanks to our fans."

"we can now control ourselves from food thanks to the fans" o damn I don't know if this is the literal quote but that sounds kinda scary. I wouldn't wanna be the motivation behind someone literally not eating. if anything, eat more! breakfast, lunch & dinner with proteins, carbs, fibres, iron, vitamins. replace the bad foods with better alternatives instead of nothing at all. Maybe she could have meant 'bad food' and it was translated differently

It's so sad to hear stick thin girls talk about starving themselves. Sure they should watch what they eat, but so should all people, it's okay to indulge once in a while as long as it's in moderation and you continue to have an active lifestyle or at least add some movement into your daily schedule.
